Childcare Room & Activity room
We provide a convenient and trustworthy childcare environment in our supervised playroom seven days a week. The playroom is staffed with CPR trained individuals. The infant/toddler room is equipped with a variety of toys, books, infant seats and swings. The "big" kids room has a small library, board games, video games, puzzles, coloring tables and a wide variety of toys that will keep your child happy and entertained while you enjoy your workout, spa appointment, or lunch.
Our Activity Room is an interactive playroom for children ages 8 - 13 years that may resist the thought of "babysitting". They have the option of engaging in their own activities or hanging out with kids their own age. Please see the Activity Room calendar for more details on programs
Childcare is for infants and children ages 3 months - 12 years
Monday-Friday 8 am - 8 pm, Saturday 8 am - 1 pm, Sunday 8am - Noon

In order to maintain the health and safety of the children, we enforce the following guidelines:

*Children should not attend the playroom if they are not well enough to attend school.
*Children with runny noses, coughs, colds or other signs of illness will not be accepted into the playroom.
*Changing diapers is the responsibility of the parent. The staff will notify a parent when a child needs to be changed. Your immediate response is appreciated by the staff and your child!
*Please inform our childcare staff of any allergies your child may have.
*Parents are asked to pick up inconsolable and disruptive children after 15 minutes.
*Children must wear shoes at all times.
*Beverages may be brought to the playroom in enclosed containers (no glass) and clearly labeled with your child's name.
*No outside food is allowed into the playroom (exceptions: gluten and nut allergies - please see staff). We offer animal and graham crackers for a snack, if needed.
*No toys, blankets or small objects may be brought into the playroom. Hand held games are allowed in the "big kids" room.
*Photos of parents must be posted in the check-in system at the time of childcare check-in. Please see the Member Services Desk to process a photo.

Helpful Hints for New Members
*Please inform the childcare staff that you and your family are new members and your child is new to the childcare room.
*Keep your first few visits shorter to help your child adjust.
*For your first few visits, try to avoid the busiest hours in the childcare (Monday - Friday, 9:30 -11:30 am).
*Save some visits for your child outside of the playroom. Bring them to the pool which will enable them to enjoy the many benefits of "their" membership.
*Potty training - In order to help your child gain success during potty training, please return periodically to the childcare to remind and prompt your child to use the "potty". This will assist your efforts with this developmental milestone.
Childcare fees - Checking into the childcare is simple and quick with the use of prepaid time blocks. Childcare time blocks can be purchased at the Member Services Desk.
